# getProductionTotal

Total production of the well (.well v2.3 precedence rules):

- Meter intervals with a known volume are `metered`; unknown ones are
  counted in `unknown_intervals` and add nothing.
- An `estimated_volume` counts only for the time not covered by any meter
  interval (the meter wins), prorated linearly by the uncovered fraction of
  its period. Intervals of unknown volume still count as covered. Its
  `method` plays no part.
- Retracted entries, entries of unknown types and estimated volumes with an
  invalid period are ignored.
