calculateHoleFillSegmentVolume

Calculates the net annular volume of a single hole-fill segment, accounting for the space taken by casings and screens that overlap it.

calculateHoleFillSegmentVolume(fill, profile): number

Calculates the net annular volume of a single hole-fill segment, accounting for the space taken by casings and screens that overlap it.

The gross cylindrical volume of the fill annulus is computed first. Any well-case or well-screen section that overlaps the fill interval is then subtracted (clipped to the overlapping length) to yield the true net volume.

The result is in cubic meters (m³) — diameters are converted from mm internally via calculateCylindricVolume.
